GOOD, BETTER, BEST......PERFECT!
The TriHealth Fitness and Health Pavilion is the first in the country to receive a perfect score in the certification review recently completed in September by the Medical Fitness Association (MFA), the country’s leading organization dedicated solely to medically integrated fitness facilities. The MFA Site Examiner completed an in-depth evaluation of the facility’s adherence to 24 rigorous standards and guidelines involving operations, safety, disease management programs, quality of staff, integration of fitness and medical services and more. The MFA Medical Fitness Center Facility Certification is recognized as a mark of excellence in the health and wellness industry. In the words of the site examiner, the overall operation of the TriHealth facility is “exemplary.”
“Certified medically integrated fitness centers have the professional expertise and programming necessary to safely and effectively assist all people, regardless of their current health status, to develop, initiate and maintain an active lifestyle that minimizes risk and promotes health and wellness. The MFA seal of approval assures consumers the facility has met the highest standards and will offer them appropriate and effective fitness/wellness programming by qualified staff.” Brad A. Roy, Ph.D., FACSM, FACHE, MFA Board Chair Elect
Also, for the 8th straight year since the list was published, TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion was named to Club Industry magazine’s Top 100 Clubs of North America.

What is the Medical Fitness Difference?
- Qualified, credentialed staff. Staff of degreed fitness professionals, licensed registered dietitians, certified athletic trainers, personal trainers and exercise class instructors all are certified by nationally recognized organizations.
- Physician oversight. Douglas Linz MD serves as medical director for the Pavilion. He monitors the medical soundness and quality of our assessment program, health risk evaluations and content of our numerous classes.
- Prevention, health risk reduction and therapeutic lifestyle programs. These include weight management and nutrition classes, children’s programs, prenatal exercise classes and warm-water therapy classes for arthritis. Exercise is proving to be a complimentary therapy for most chronic conditions.
- Fitness assessment and orientation. A complimentary fitness assessment will help with goal-setting and program development. During orientation, new members will learn how to get started and how to use fitness equipment.
- Continual reinvestment in facility. TriHealth has reinvested in facility maintenance, additions, replacements and upgrades every year since our inception to ensure that we retain state-of-the-art programs, equipment and facilities. This is a reflection of our commitment to our mission.
- Rehabilitation services. The TriHealth Pavilion offers:
- Post Rehab Program
- Integrative Health & Medicine Center
