Medical Fitness Association-2010 Rising Star Award

Congratulations to Lisa Branzel, certified Athletic Trainer, for being awarded the Medical Fitness Association Central Region Rising Star Award.  The Rising Star program recognizes outstanding individual achievement and leadership within the medical fitness community.  Lisa was nominated for continually exceeding performance expectations.  She has demonstrated sincere interest in the medical fitness client and profession while actively pursuing personal, professional and intellectual growth opportunities.  Lisa has been an important member of Pavilion committees including the Exercise is Medicine team and Chronic Disease Exercise Task Force involved in development of new programs and initiatives for Pavilion members.  She will be presenting results from the Pavilion's Physician Referral Program at the Global Conference on Exercise is Medicine sponsored by the American College of Sports Medicine in Baltimore, MD in June.

We are thrilled that the Medical Fitness Association has chosen Lisa for this prestigious and very deserved award!

Congratulations Toni Brown 

We are delighted to announce our 2009 employee of the year: Toni Brown! Toni has been with the Pavilion for over 7 years, starting as a receptionist in the Pavilion Spa and then transitioning to the front service desk. Toni’s exuberant and unique personality is loved by all; Toni has a way of making everyone she encounters feel great. No matter what your mood, Toni is bound and determined to get you to laugh, or at least crack a smile as you pass the front desk! Her work AND workout ethic is one to be admired; you can find Toni out of uniform on the fitness floor most days, "making muscles." Toni represents and embraces the values of the Pavilion every day and that is why she is so deserving of this award! Congratulations Toni!
