Aquacise (Warm-Water Pool)
This low impact water aerobic class emphasizes toning, stretching and cardiovascular conditioning. Participants work at their own level of intensity using various forms of water walking for exercise and cardiovascular fitness.
Back Basics (Warm-Water Pool)
Offered in conjunction with our Post-Rehab department, this is an exercise program especially designed to teach stretching and strengthening exercises needed to take proper care of your back. This class is recommended for those with reoccurring back problems.
Body Blast (Main Pool)
Our Most Challenging Workout
Participants will exercise in the shallow and deep areas, working the cardiovascular and muscular systems using water belts, weights and kick boards, giving participants a full-body workout. Decrease body fat, tone and strengthen muscles and increase flexibility without causing soreness or lactic acid build-up. This class is a great cross training alternative that is fun and challenging.
Deep Water Workout (Main or Warm-Water Pool)
This is an intense strengthening, muscle toning and cardiovascular conditioning class taught in the deep water. A water belt will support you in deep water with your head comfortably above the surface at all times. A great cross training alternative.
Fitness for Two
For pregnant women, this strengthening, muscle toning and cardiovascular conditioning class incorporates yoga-like moves to relax, stretch and strengthen your core muscle groups, keeping you balanced and centered. Taught in deep water, a water belt will support you with your head comfortably above the surface at all times. Our classes follow the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommendations for exercise during pregnancy. Class is also appropriate for postpartum women. Physician consent is required for participants.
